[Player's Note: Okay, I'm actually in the middle of several things... I'm making dinner, and I also plan on making Forgotten Kisses (aka meringue cookies), hollandaise, and crdêpes before the night is over, too. I want to experiment and try and make coffee crêpes. (Okay, I'm just gonna shut up right now or I'll end up babbling endlessly about food...) >.>
Main point - I'm pretending that a week has not passed since Hitsugaya said he'd show up, and this Monday is the monday in which he arrives at Watanuki's place for the week. I just finished watching the first season of xxxHoLic, and I now consider it one of my fav anime! Thank you, MOG-chan, for introducing it to me!!!]
I spent the day packing yesterday, did some shopping, and lectured Matsumoto on keeping the office in order. She complained about working on a Sunday, which is something she's supposed to do, anyways! Some of the other captains had a few topics they wished to discuss at the last minute, which surprisingly included Captain Kuchiki. His lieutenant was with him. When Abarai asked me where I was spending my vacation, I could swear he was upset by the tension in his facial muscles. Abarai insisted he wasn't, and it's really none of his business anyways.
I have to admit, I'm a little nervous. That's not something I'd admit lightly, either. I'm not a nervous person, and I have nothing to fear from a human, even if he is constantly visited by dark spirits. Those I can handle without breaking a sweat. With me, Watanuki won't have to worry about being attacked. From the description he gave me, it seems they're not fully-formed Hollow, but pieces or residual spirits, which are usually formless and reek of foul stenches.
I suppose I'm thinking too heavily on Kusaka... He was the first friend I had ever made on my own, and he was just as nice to me as Watanuki. Was being the key word... I don't think Watanuki will turn out like Kusaka did, but even with my guard up I feel the gap between him and I shorten. It's nice to call someone a friend again.
I'm now at his place. I have a bag of personal items I feel I shall need for the week and a box containing my own futon, blanket, and pillows. Matsumoto tried packing in a teddy bear when I wasn't looking, but unfortunately for her I spotted it before I closed the box. It's now sitting on her desk with a note on it (a few choice words). As I poised my finger to ring the doorbell, hesitating... the last thought I have before pushing it is Oh God, I hope he's not tall...
