This thread will be where all the Mirror/* drabbles will be posted. Each will be posted as a new comment. I've arranged it like this so reviews can be left for individual drabbles.

There will be a separate thread like this one for each character.

You may post your one drabble to its two (2) appropriate threads, but be sure to follow the Rules forRead more... )

Untitled

The smooth face gave nothing away, watching what was happening - the writhing, undulating, sensual movement coming closer…closer. Flick. Flickflickflick. The beast’s split tongue felt like a butterfly’s wings as it passed over lightly. The quiet hiss caused slight vibrations to blossom as the vision of power and grace danced erotically with itself. Not to reach out and touch it was torture, against its own deepest desire…
Wrapping its sinewy body around the feet, the basilisk embraced the proffered desire; using powerful muscles to pull itself upright, sliding up the body until it was face to face with pure lust...and death.

Cool. It is interesting to contemplate what the mirror would show to different observers. Hadn't thought about the snake, though.

Unfortunately, when basilisks see themselves in a mirror...they die. So we don't know what they see. But the mirror...what does it see? We'll never know.

Fascinating----Draco Malfoy/Mirror of Erised

Most people thought Draco looked into mirrors because he liked to look at himself, but Draco Malfoy was fascinated by mirrors.
The molten pools of sliver reflecting all they saw.
He envied them because they took everything at face value.
Draco wished he could do that, but he had to be polite to the worst people and horrible to the best.
Happiness was not a word in Draco’s vocabulary until he found the Mirror of Erised.
He visited, just to touch the reflective surface.
Mirrors fascinated Draco Malfoy.
It was only natural that he would fall in love with one.
