He walked over to the stool, eyeing the tattered black material that adorned it. With eager hands he picked the material up, feeling the silky smoothness contrast with the rough edges where the hat was torn and frayed from years of wear. There were patches, sewn roughly on, dispelling of the years of use…and misuse. There was a glint in the old man’s eyes: a burning passion mixed with desire. He sat behind his desk, holding the hat carefully in his right hand, caressing it gently. Slowly, closing his eyes, he lowered the hat onto his head.
“Back again, Albus?”
