Lavender Cookies?

I've been making a lot of iced tea lately (in the summer I like to have a pitcher  or two always on hand). But what kind of cookies do you serve with iced tea. They should be light and freshly flavored, and the only thing I can come up with is lavender which I know people cook with, I just don't know anyone who ever has ( Read more... )

Light shortbread with lemon or lime icing!

I'm sure you could cook with fresh lavender, if you grew it yourself. Otherwise--lavender extract, maybe?

That's EXACTLY what I was going to say!! Shortbread cookies go great with lemon tea, too.
