"You need to watch this episode so we can talk about what explodes"

So I finally watched "Sunday."  JUST WHAT THE FUCK DID THEY THINK THEY WERE DOING?!  Normally I've got a lot of forgiveness for television shows.  But this was unforgivable.  I don't think I'll be okay with this anytime soon.  Blood must be spilled.  Heads will roll.

There is a show out there called "Sunday"? How odd. I heard it isn't on Sunday...like how "Friday Night Lights" comes on on Monday or something.

What did it do?

"Sunday" was an episode of Stargate Atlantis and they very stupidly killed off a very popular regular character in a very, very stupid way and I've also found out that they've reduced another character to recurring. I think the show may be ruined for me.

"Though McGillion will not be a regular in Season Four, he may return for future episodes." -Gateworld.net

"Producer N. John Smith reportedly told fans that Dr. Beckett won't be killed off, but instead will disappear in the second half of the current season. Though McGillion will not be a regular in Season Four, he may return for future episodes." -throng.co.nz

"Dr. Beckett is killed during the episode entitled Sunday. It has been confirmed that he will not be a regular in Season 4, but he is said to be returning as a recurring character. 'How' has not been explained, but it is speculed that the Ancients offered him the opporitunity to Ascend." -wikipedia

Now I have nothing to cling to. And they're getting rid of Weir as a regular. I don't know if I can ever like this show again. I have no words...
