Summary: Harry lied, though Ginny doesn’t know it.

If Ron was alive and knew what he was doing…

He did feel a bit guilty, he had told her he was going to go away, find himself. And he had, or had tried at least. But it hadn’t worked, hadn’t worked at all. And he knew exactly why. She wasn’t out of his system.

So there he was, sitting outside her room, hiding under his invisibility cloak, just listening. She had a habit of talking to herself; she said some of the funniest things when she was alone. More then once he had to catch himself, stop himself from laughing out loud.

But then there were the other times; times when she was perfectly quiet, all the sound in the entire flat was her even breathing.

He loved those times, able to just watch her in perfect harmony, perfect silence. He found he was much more able to discover himself when he was sitting there, in her flat, the only music her steady breathing.

And as well as he knew that he had hurt her, lied to her; that he didn’t even come close to deserving her…he couldn’t leave. He was finding his sanity, his life through her. He would sit and watch and fall to her, invisible though he was.
