And the funny thing is, I might not have made my rent if it weren't for my stint as a RINO. I'd have a paralegal job if I believed in the system, as it were, but I don't, no more than I should.
Oh, yes, the taxes ... their progeny will be worthy of Mayor Coleman Young himself!
Yes, I did make the sign, including el RINO! Thanks if you're saying you like it! It was a fun "gig," as 'twere, even without the battery for the head-costume fan. :(

Well, contributions-- to individuals, which all government is composed of-- by companies or other interest groups that want a bigger piece of the tax pie than they recieve now. The problem isn't so much using taxes as that there is a so-far insoluble slippery slope from using the power of taxation to support legitimate government functions to using the guise of being a legitimate government to take more than necessary to support employees, and scratch donors' backs, in areas where there is no reason to use funding gained by coersion, particularly since government does anything it does less efficiently (generally by far) than functions carried out by private groups and individuals.
And hey, humankind owes naivety for an impressive number of the questions that at the time need asking.
