That Which We Have In Common
When you think of sensitivity and the body, you immediately think of the neck and other obvious places. Yet, when you are a warrior, you lose sensitivity in the obvious places in order to protect yourself. For if those parts are sensitive so is your response to pain in those places. So those places become numb or dull to any sensation, which is hard on a partner if the warrior has relationships.
Link and Dark Link were warriors, battle hardened and christened in the blood of their enemies and those who would seek to harm them. There was even a past of each other’s blood upon them, but that was long since gone. Yet, that experience taught them that there was something they could not deny between them. Now they seek a different domination of one another.
Dark Link had problems with public displays of affections, it was just in his nature to shy away from it. However, his lighter half had always manage to succumb to him to his whims, and it didn’t take much on his behalf. Yet, Link always hated forcing his darker half to do anything he didn’t want to do. So, he came up with a compromise in order to keep them both happy, and it all started with that day..
Long, thin fingers dipped into the water slowly letting the cooling sensation envelope them. He closed his eyes in response to the feeling before swiftly withdrawing his fingers from the water and flinging droplets at his sleeping partner.
Link blinked awake and drew his weapon in reaction only to drop it seconds later. He shook his head in admonishment at his darker half before crawling over at Dark Link’s beckoning. As soon as he was close enough, long fingers traced him, Link always pondered at the fascination Dark Link had with him.
Every time they had seconds to themselves Dark Link would run his fingers over Link as if memorizing him constantly. As Link leaned into his touch, one of his fingers slid across a sharp branch and he immediately recoiled. In response he stuck his injured digit in his mouth to replace the painful sensation with a cooling one.
Dark Link watched him fascinated as he took an innocent approach to his healing. Swiftly he rose and strode over to his partner, yanking Link’s finger out of his mouth to inspect it. He receive a groan of disapproval from his lighter half before he took to cleaning it, using the prior method that Link had been using. His ears pricked at the sound that greeted his actions, his lighter half had sensitive fingers! Grinning wickedly he let the finger drop and observe his lighter half. A whine escape Link’s throat then, and he grinned wider. His lighter half did have sensitive fingers, extremely sensitive if judging by his actions.
Dark Link filed away this information and made sure to curl his own fingers. He had something in common with his lighter half, as he to had sensitive fingers. His action though did not go unseen by his partner who reached forward to grasp his hand. It was then that Dark Link was subjected to his own torture, his light half smiling wickedly the whole time.
Link tugged at his gloves and then slyly yanked his darker half’s off as well. When Dark Link turned his head in confusion to him, Link reached forward and touched their fingers together. Not quite enough to cause embarrassing reactions or to be counted as holding hands, but just enough for them. After all, it was nice to have something small in common, and easily manipulated for each other’s whims.
