Dark Link frowned as Link tucked some of his blond hair underneath his all to noticeable green cap. As warriors there was a lot of accessories that they couldn’t go without. Gloves to protect their hands from blisters, sturdy shoes to protect their feet, and swords to defend oneself. Link also had some sort of fascination with a single hooped earing, but Dark Link never minded that piece of jewelry.
No, the one part of Link’s ensemble he could have done without, was that blasted cap he always wore. It served no real purpose as far as protection goes. Said green piece of cloth had no magical protection spells on it and it drove Dark Link crazy. Its only purpose that hat served was to irritated the living soul out of him.
For he would end up watching as Link would tuck some of his glorious hair underneath that stupid looking cap. He also had one for each one of his tunics, and they matched! However, what really bothered him about that hat, is it was made by one of the ones he considered his rival for Link’s attention. Saria had made it for the youth ages ago, and Link could bare to part with it, saying it was from a friend.
Dark Link was no fool, he knew that Saria liked Link as more than a friend, but she was too kind to impede on Link’s wishes. However, the little things she did to capture Link’s attention was beginning to wear on his nerves.
Yes, he was immensely jealous, and he didn’t want that, he shouldn’t need to be jealous, especially of a piece of cloth. That stupid piece of cloth seemed glued on half the time... Darn it, he was not going to be jealous over a piece of cloth! Dark Link put his hand in his left pouch and withdrew and interesting looking necklace.
It had the triforce hanging off as a charm and on the courage triangle was a yin yang symbol. Dark Link smirked and walked over to Link. "So, what’s your favorite accessory?" Dark Link inquired.
"My hat." Link answered.
"Grr...Oh." Dark Link offered.
"Why?" Link asked.
"Cause I think it’s stupid." Dark Link answered honestly.
"You do realize you have one too." Link pointed out.
"Shut up." Dark Link growled out, and thrust out his present. "Next time don’t expect anything for your birthday." and with that he matched off to train.
