Not Sharing

Dark Link glared as Princess Zelda talked happily with Link. His blood-red eyes narrowed as she leaned slightly on the elfin hero. Brushing his silver hair out of his face, he stalked over to where the pair was and grabbed Link from behind. Link glance back to smile at Dark Link before resuming his conversation with the now glaring princess.

Link could be quite oblivious at times, this was one of them, as he completely missed the now dissatisfied expression on Zelda’s face. Dark Link however, up his glare, but took pleasure in the expression. That’s right, the blond-haired, blue-eyed hero was his, not hers. She lost that privilege after she tossed away the poor boy’s affection the first time. Saying it would be better if they didn’t meet and cause the events for before to start again.

Bah, her lost then, she couldn’t really believe she’d get a second chance to woo Link again. Especially not if Dark Link had anything to say about it, and he had a lot to say. In fact, he was saying it quite convincingly with his glare. ‘Mine.’ His glare said, and he grew tired of this little tit-a-tat.

"Mmm, want to visit’s Epona’s colts?" Dark Link asked to his light half while hugging the Hylian to his chest. Link loved the horse companion of his, and Dark Link didn’t mind the mare, it had kept his light company before him. Besides the two colts will be their mounts when they got older.

"Oh, can we?" Link inquired and Dark Link nodded, ignoring the heated glare sent his way. "Let’s go, bye Zelda." Link crowed and then started running toward the ranch that held said horses.

"Stay away from him." Dark Link growled, and added an extra glare before going after his light.

His situation didn’t change as he found Link checking on Epona and her foals, and Malon was standing there with a peaceful smile on her face. Now, while he didn’t mind the girl because of her disposition, he did not appreciate her designs on Link. So, with a hard glare, he spooked the girl away. He kept Malon at a distance the whole time they were there with his heavy glare.

A jingling noise had him turning, his glare darkening as he recognized the sound. "I thought I got rid of her.." Dark Link muttered as Navi pestered Link with a message.

"Saria wants to see you." Navi chimed and Dark Link with held the urge to strangle the fairy in front of Link. Link nodded and raced off toward Kokiri Forest. Dark Link took off after him while tossing a glare at the smirking fairy.

"Why haven’t I killed her yet?" He asked himself as he swatted at the annoying ball of light. Dark Link of course came upon Link chatting with Saria, and he growled lightly. She was Link’s first friend, ‘must not kill, must not kill.’ His thoughts repeated. However when she hugged the male and went to kiss him on the cheek, he interfered and glared at her as well.

"Want to go for a swim?" Link asked him, and he immediately nodded, wanting Link far away from the Forest Sage.

They used the serenade of water to arrive at Lake Hylia with no time. Dark Link took time to appreciate the view as Link slipped off his tunic and leggings. His viewing was interrupted as a Zora popped up, and not just any Zora, but the friggin princess, Ruto! She was his most competitive rival in having Link’s attention.

Glaring, he quickly stripped and jumped into the lake. Ruto was currently trying to wrap herself around Link, but was having problems as Link kept swimming away. Dark Link had to stop himself from ripping the fins off the water sage. Glaring savagely he swam up to Link and while directing his gaze at Ruto, planted a fierce kiss on Link’s throat.

He was pleased with Ruto huffed and swam back to the passage that would take her home to Zora’s Domain. Dark Link had other thoughts on his mind as Link wiggled out of his grasp. He decided to swim toward the small island in the middle of the lake and just watch his light for a bit. Link joined after him after awhile, content, his light leaned against him and drew his ocarina.

"Mmm, what are you doing?" Dark Link whispered in his light’s ear, and Link shivered a bit.

"Just playing." Link answered and started playing a few notes on his fairy ocarina. It wasn’t long until Dark Link recognized one of the melodies but didn’t worry. After all, the fairy ocarina didn’t have the powers that the Ocarina of Time did.

However, light began surrounding the pair, and Dark Link withheld a curse. Just because the ocarina held no power, didn’t mean that the songs didn’t. Sure enough, the final note of the Spirit’s Requiem sounded, and they were whisked off to the Spirit Temple. Link apologized, and together they made their way back through the desert to the Gerudo’s Hideout.

Of course someone was waiting for them as they crossed the threshold. "Ah, Link, you never visit any more." Nabooru’s voice floated over them before she wrapped Link in a tight, possessive hug. The scantily clad woman kindly pressed her self closer to the now red Link who was trying to free himself.

"This is ridiculous." Dark Link muttered, and easily wrenched Link from the woman’s hold. She had loosen her hold when she saw Dark Link glare and stalk over. "It’s been nice seeing you." Dark Link stated and then walk off with Link. Nabooru watched them walk off with crossed arms and a bit of a glare.

Navi came flying at them as they exited the desert area to head back to their small resting place. "Link, Impa wan..." She didn’t get any further as Dark Link swatted her away.

"What was that?" Link inquired, but Dark Link merely stared at him curiously.

"Nothing." Dark Link answered, and the pair walked off, ignoring the twitching fairy. "Now, I believe it’s time for some rest." Dark Link purred and pulled Link to him.
