Hi Birdie: Well is was such a HUGE RELIEF to hear your voice this morning. Basically this email is to let Kimi know also that you are okay. Kimi - I finally got a hold of Velta on the ship. So she is safe and is suppose to be in Ft. Lauderdale today. I am writing this because I believe you probably gave me the phone number at the Flower shop and I think it is closed today.
Velta I will also call Papa today and let him know you are okay.
It is Also Grandma's birthday today and it was Grandpa's last Saturday 30 Sept.
We have to have a number to contact the ship in emergencies if we need to. I tried a number of times phoning you on the line I did this morning and it never connected... to me that is unacceptable. You will have to ask your supervisor how we can contact you if we need to. They have to have a number!!
Anyway you have no Idea how good it was to hear your voice. It has made my Thanksgiving!!!! I love you, miss you, hugs and kisses - big ones - and we will talk later, Mom
