Excitement at Work

I walked into the back door of the office building this morning and saw a little gathering around my office door. I stoped by a friends office at the beginning of the hall and she told me one of the girls (23 years old) became engaged over the weekend. This is exciting. We all knew she was going to get engaged soon but we didn't know when

23 seems a little young, but I suppose that depends on the girl. Enganged having dated for barely a month? Wow. Sadly, that sounds a bit too familiar... I hope they had known each other pretty well before that.

Something in the water? Well it hasn't become an epidemic yet.

23 isn't too young. People get married a lot younger.

The lady who is engaged after a month is in her 40s. Her significant other is in his 50s. They've both been down this road before. I think they have figured out what they want.
