The other day Steve and I were attempting to kill a spider in our room (by spraying it to death with a can of shaving cream), and when the shaving cream made contact the spider threw forth a thousand baby spiders into the room.

I was up and standing on the bed in an instant. WTF!

i am petrified.
this has never happened to me... and now i am even more scared of killing them. especially since this apparently not uncommon.

To further scare you:

An old coworker of mine had a spider on her ceiling. She took a broom handle to squash the spider...AND HUNDREDS OF BABIES FEEL ON HER HEAD.
