I hope, this counts for angst... because I don't do angst...

„Hey - um... … Hey.“ She fumbled uncomfotably with her fingers, like being unsure she really wanted to start the video, but finally decided for it - the same way she seemed to fumble for words at all.
The room was dark only illuminated by a little light off camera somewhere behind her - just about enough to be seen on screen, acompanied with weird shadows being casted over her face and the surrounding.
She sat on her bed, nothing new so far, but the snow white bed spread kind of glowed through this diffus light; surrounding her like a bizarre halo. Giving the situation more surrealistic by itself.
Her eyes were red, her hair messy - she didn't bother to wipe her wet cheeks anymore.
„I'm alone at the moment, my friends called some time ago, I thought I could handle this...“
She stared into the camera. Not moving. 'But she couldn't.'
„My...“ She hesitated. „I...“
She pulled her knees up, tried to curl up completly - only her eyes visible, like dark glittering buttons shining through the darkness.
“This week came a letter from some kind of laywer informing me about the death from some unknown relative. They clearly went to several lengths of digging to find just any relative for the heritage to pass on...” She put her chin onto her knees. The talking obviously soothed her.
“At first I thought this was a mistake.
That they found the wrong heir... something like that. But today was the meeting with this laywer who manages the will and stuff and...” She faltered.
“Apparently...” she snivelled. A new tear rolled down her cheek, but again she didn't wipe it away.
Then she took a breath.
“Apparently I had a grandfather nobody knew of. The father of my mother.
She ran away, after my grandmother died, broke off every family ties she had... at least that's what this lawyer person said.”
She stared again and a new tear appeared.
“They told me, he was a nice man. Everybody liked him. I was told, he was kind and generous... In absence of an own family he made his friends his family - he didn't die alone.”
She stoped again. Letting the said sink in.
“If my grandfather would have known of me, they said he would have searched for me... He would have come for me... He always wanted his family back.” Her face twisted again, her eyes getting more blotchy, like a reverie of long locked away memories seemed to flood her - every one of them mirroring in her face, her eyes - more tears.
“I - I searched years and years for somebody left of my family. - I hoped there was somebody out there, I belonged to - just as lonely as me...” She snivelled.
“And now... - And now to learn - that there was this man, as lonely and familyless as me - who now will never know, that I was here the whole time... - That I was looking for him as well...”
She pressed her hand over her mouth, sobbing now violently, while more an more tears appeared.
“I'm sorry.” Her voice stifeld.
She sliped from the bed, made the few steps to the camera, still sobbing, raised her hand into the picture, fumbling for the stop button.
“I'm fine, I swear. No need to worry.” She choked out a last time before the screen went black.
