I put this on my LJ too. I lost my mom and my aunt to cancer.

I'm sorry about your grandma (I never knew my grandparents. they all died before I was born. I wish I'd gotten a chance to know them)
I hope Nick will be okay. my friend's husband runs the Marine Corp Marathon to benefit the Leukemia/lymphoma society.
