Dear whoever reads this,

I kinda sorta really flipped out today on twitter. I was at work and while I was peeing (this is where I do my best thinking), I realized what my problem is. I'm gonna try to explain myself as best as possible without sounding too whiney and pathetic, etc.

Basically it started with me being angry at the amount of Jonas I see ( Read more... )

i get annoyed by the same thing. i don't understand how anyone can keep track of it all, to find the time to know of every little tweet about where joe is or to see every fan picture just released on twitter. i don't even have that busy of a life but i can't keep up most of the time, so with the people with jobs and whatever that consume their days, how are they able to do or care more than i can? i don't care about their every move either. i think people need to take better care of themselves rather than worry about what joe or whoever can do to be happier in their life. idek, it's annoying. i always open twitter up and see someone worrying about something hurting one of them, mainly joe. has nothing to do with liking one more than the other because obviously i care a ton about each of them, not enough to obsess constantly on twitter though. i have things in my own life to care about, other people i'm a fan of.... i tend to let things get to me publicly too and no one comments on it and when they do, i feel attacked just like you do ( ... )

For me, it's just I have a a desk job where all I do is push paper around a lot, and a casual office environment where the boss thinks internet access if OK--as long as your work is getting done, he doesn't care cause he thinks those breaks are healthy.

But my real secret--there are a handful of twitter accounts (maybe 2 or 3) that I know *always* have the info on what I'm looking for (ie, Nick) so I just creep their twitters a few times a day and that's how I find out info. IDK how they do it, I don't care, it just means I don't have to spend time looking for it. ;)

i have some of those accounts to look at too, but they're not always completely up to date like other people on my timeline are. then i have like 6 people RTing the same thing (and i don't mean literal RT, like the RTs that you can't turn off). if they DON'T RT it, then they're there discussing it and that's usually where i come in not knowing wtf is going on. it sounds petty to be annoyed about that but everyone is always in the know~ and then when you ask about it when no one posted anything about it and it's just responses on your TL, they reply with sentences that sound all sassy, like with a ? at the end. i hate that. i'm not the person to not look before i ask either, so it's unnecessary. apparently i'm supposed to regret not knowing what everyone else knows! that's the obnoxious part about it. either way there's a complaint from me because it's excessive whether they say what they're talking about or not lol

*hugs* Well, I will say I do miss seeing you posting about the Jonai on Twitter, cause I have so few Nick fans on my TL to talk to!!

But, I guess all I can say is to look at people posting all that info as a way to keep you informed so you can still keep up on them!

Some day, maybe they'll do something we can all go to again! I mean, Nick does still owe us a whole Musikfest set.... ;)

Haters gonna hate and players gonna play. I totally understand what you mean by moving onto different fandom. It's natural, especially when the one you love the most appears to have faded into the abyss. However, there will always be the loyalists who stick by it and discuss it, and being on the fringe of the discussion when you used to be in the midst can be completely aggravating. I understand where you're coming from completely. Ultimately, though, I have a feeling that this will pass once Jonas becomes a thing again, and you will be right back in the thicket of the discussion! Just wait it out and don't let the haters get you down. (:

I don't think I used the word "completely" enough. Or "discussion". D:

Unhealthy dependency/love >check ... frustration and inability to keep up > check ... Understanding > check. We all have similar feelings, and like most, Twitter is my happy place, my escape, my refuge ... some of my best friends I've met because of those boys, and I am forever grateful. Feel free to vent and spew, you are loved regardless.
