FullMetal Alchemist
So, so, so, I'm reading FullMetal Alchemist thanks to the suggestion of Leng, and the library requests of Books. I don't actually have too much intelligent to say, except that I'm loving the books much more than I thought I would.
So, when I first started the books, I felt like I had missed something, like I had walked in in the middle of a movie. But then the books really started to fill in the details, and I found myself drawn into the story.
The reason I love these books is it's just like The Thief, or even The Spirit Thief. You start out thinking it's a sort-of fluff, fun sort of read, and then the story and the plot pulls in on itself, and suddenly you're trying to determine who's done what, and whether the world is going to survive.
Another reason I like it is how it just is sooo emotionally taxing! One minute, you're ready to *KILL* Roy for what he did to Maria Ross, and the next, you're heads spinning 'cuz you just found out that it was all an illusion, and Roy went to great lengths to protect her!
Anyway, I don't have much else in the way of intelligent thought, (partly 'cuz I now have Books' cold :( But, my OTP for this series is definitely RoyxRiza!
