At work yesterday I was joking with coworkers that since Edgar Allan Poe, Charles Darwin, and Abe Lincoln are having their 200th birthdays within a few weeks of each other (more aquarians) that there must be a joke there. So they challenged me to write one. Here it is:

Darwin, Poe, and Lincoln walk into a bar.

Hi 127fascination, I hope you don't mind that I friended you. I felt I had to after my Philosophy teacher was making a point in class last week and his point relied heavily on the consistency of the number 127.

Yes, I'd like to stay in touch. *sigh* We shared that sentiment a lot last time I had lunch with the Applied Biosystems crew and they were all looking at their last few months (July 31 is the tentative official end date ( ... )
