This morning at work while watching Obama's acceptance speech online with Bush sitting behind him, I could not ignore the symbolism happening just outside my door: the landscape company was grinding down a tree stump to make way for a new tree planting. I don't know if Obama is a tree, but Bush was definitely a stump.....
