Our guide drove us to Snagov where we got into small row boats piloted by locals and were rowed to the Snagov Monastary on the lake. This is where Vlad's headless body is supposed to be entombed (his head went to the Turks). His tomb is inside this Byzantine church

There were some elements of cheese on the Dracula Tour as you would expect. Not too over the top though. The 1st night we dined at Count Dracula Club. No one wanted to order the "Renfield" special surprise meal so our guide ordered it. It was "Fried Rat"
The Dracula Tour is now over and we are in our hotel in Bucharest. The tour was amazing and I will post some highlights over the next few days (not in realtime

Regardless of how I feel about celebrating Columbus Day from the native American or Italian American perspective, my Dad loved this holiday "on the hill" in St. Louis.
