I actually got escorted out because I totally forgot that I had my multi-tool on my belt and I had to go put it in the car, but apparently that requires having a security guard walk me the 100 feet over to the exit.

So I checked on the cat again this morning. He's still alive and loud as all hell. The landlord left a note on the door saying the carpet cleaners will be there tomorrow, Wednesday, and that they have been informed not to let the cat out.
