~Personality~

Basics:

Name: Cherry
Age: 17
Zodiac Sign: Virgo
Do you have a preference for the gender of the character you will be voted as? Nope.

Likes: reading, writing, drawing, art&artsy&creative things, philosophy, anime/manga, fantasy(whee unicorns, dragons, elves, gnomes!), daydreaming, bright colours, gaming, her private geekery time, hanging out with her friends, internet shopping, nature(forests in particular), (leather bound) journals, chocolate..

Dislikes: flying bugs, people who never listen and run you over like a bulldozer, bossy people, whiny people, weakness(more as weakness in myself), pretence/insincerity

Hobbies: writing, drawing, contemplating about useless things in life. Yes I actually like thinking things over and over again. But I'm not really much of a hobby person, unless you can call "excessively downloading weird music over the internet" a hobby.

Strengths: receptive, open-minded, caring, "the peacemaker"(sometimes even the "wise one that everybody has to listen to")

Weaknesses: chaotic, klutz, fickle(I change my mind around the second), lazy, self-centered

Favourite Quotes:

"The heart has its reasons, of which reason knows nothing"
-Pascal

"Be the master and creator of yourself."
- F. Nietzsche

I'm also no quote memoriser. Actually, these are two random quotes from my Philosophy textbook I happened to like(and memorised for the test xDD).

Questions:

How do people usually describe you?
A cheerful, dreamy and friendly Asian, who bounces around and is almost always happy. Hum, I do not agree but I already had my turn ho hum.

Who do you admire most and why?
And again, I am not a person for role models. But if I had to pick someone out it'd be George R.R. Martin. He's not some national hero, a politician or a world renowned doctor. He's just a writer who writes awesome books and I happen to be one of his fangirls. Oh please mister Martin, give me your brain.

What is your dream?:
To become an inspirational writer for younglings like me in the future. And of course that half of the world is absolutely in LOVE with my books. But the inspirational part is what matters more, to help people indirectly with my books, that'd be awesome.

In what kind of place do you feel most at home?
For me home is just plain home. I love our house, I have lived here almost my whole life. And if we're talking about cities, definitely Amsterdam. The bestest city I have ever been, and I live here! >:D

What is more important to you: yourself, your family, your friends, your country? Why?
My family ; Nobody loves you more, ever, than your family. They're the few people who will forever stay in my life.
My friends ; Some of my friends feel like family, so I guess family and friends should be a tie. They are my support, my home base when I can't stand my family. :P And of course, they're the most precious and awesomest people in the world.
Myself ; Me, myself and I. I actually had to debate whether I had to put myself on top of the list, or here, at a humble 3rd place. The 3rd spot won.
My country ; Now this is tough. What is my country? Which one of the two are you referring to? The Netherlands or Korea? Because I have absolutely no idea. To put it very dramatically: I have no country. -sob-

Who is your favourite character in Juuni Kokki and why?
Youko, definitely. I could relate to her, even at the beginning and even though she was annoying the hell out of me I ended up cheering for her like a crazed football fan. You get to hate her, sympathise with her and love her in the end. Second comes a tie between Keiki and Taiki, because Kirins are love.

Who is your least favourite character and why?
Admittedly, while watching the show Suzu and Shoukei were pissing me off, very very much. But they both turned out to be the good guys. So I think I'll have to go for.. Yuka. She turns out alright in the end, but, her attitude annoyed me. *SPOILER ALERT* She only realised her mistakes after she had no other choice(the king supporting her and all died and she failed in murdering Youko).

What is your favourite scene in Juuni Kokki and why?
Ahh, that's the scene where Youko hops on Keiki's back and goes all regal. I absolutely *LOVE* that scene, it's the ultimate Youko-kicks-butt-scene!

If you were chosen by a kirin as the next ruler to a country in turmoil...how would you react and what would you do?
I would be shocked, of course. But I don't think I would think too much on it before I would accept. I don't know, perhaps I am a little power hungry person but how better to serve the people than doing it right by yourself?

Which of the following positions in a kingdom would you prefer and why: King/Queen, teacher/advisor, minister, lord, servant, guard/soldier, other?
Queen, as for the reason stated above. If not, I'd be happy being a lord as well. Why not a minister you say? I am actually quite lazy, and being a Minister sounds like you have to do all the dirty work for the monarch. Check up on the currency, how much is that feast going to cost, get all the information gathered.. blahblahblah... I just want to know what's happening, think on it a lot and make my decision. :)

Anything else you'd like to say?
Nope!
