~Personality~

Basics:

Name: Lisa
Age: 20
Zodiac Sign: Taurus
Do you have a preference for the gender of the character you will be voted as? Not really.

Likes: Music, spare time, rpgs, chocolate, storms, reading, being with interesting people, insider jokes, traveling, challenges.

Dislikes: Shallow- and weak-minded people, seeing people suffer, boredom, waiting/being stuck, too much heat and sunlight, being away from the ones I care about, having to get up after too little sleep, people who do not respect personal space.

Hobbies: reading, music, traveling, role-playing, going to the movies, spending time with my friends doing nothing in particular

Strengths: I am fairly intelligent, caring, self-confident, independent, outspoken *cough*blunt*cough* and willing to do what needs doing.

Weaknesses: well… sometimes I am a little too outspoken I suppose. Apart from that I’m terribly impatient, and can never resist telling people when I know better than they do. And I still have my moments of thinking too hard and overworking myself for the sake of others (I don’t think it’s such a bad thing, but I’m told it’s in fact, rather stupid)

Favourite Quotes:
(I never really thought about this…)
"Without strength you can not protect anything." (Vergil, Devil May Cry 3)

"Nothing is more powerful than an idea for which the time has come." (unkown)

Questions:

How do people usually describe you? Umm… that’s a good question actually. Most just say things like “You’re something else!”. I have been called awesome on occasions, but I know that’s not exactly descriptive. I’m told that I am a very caring person, who is always there to listen and to give advice, even though the advice I give isn’t always something you like to hear. (Well, tough!)
But still, they also say that I’m good company, to goof around with, or simply for hanging out. It seems I also have a reputation of getting stuff done.

Who do you admire most and why?… wow, another one of those I never actually thought about before… I don’t think I really admire anyone specifically. Every person who juggles everyday life deserves my respect. But the deepest respect I have for those people who follow their dream and go to any lengths to achieve it.

What is your dream?: My dream. My dream is to one day manage some success with my band. Don’t laugh! I’m entirely serious. It’s something creative, and I can have my little bit of spotlight - and maybe, just maybe, I can get some message across, too.

In what kind of place do you feel most at home? I like seasides, anything that isn’t too hot. But I also like big cities, like Tokyo. Or San Francisco. But I think I only really feel at home when there’s one of my friends close by.

What is more important to you: yourself, your family, your friends, your country? Why? My friends. To me, they are more important than anything else in the world. Through them, I found out that life is, in fact, worth living - and it without them, it wouldn’t be. To me, friends are the family you choose in this life. That’s why they are most important.

Who is your favourite character in Juuni Kokki and why? That’s hard. I liked Shoryu, because he managed to keep in touch with the people and govern the kingdom at the same time. He knows how to have fun, but he also knows how to keep everything together. I also like Rakushun, Shushou, Sanshi and Aozaru. But then, I like all sorts of people. I guess picking a favourite of anything is just very difficult for me.

Who is your least favourite character and why? …somehow I always disliked Kourin. I mean, I did feel sorry for her, but at the same time she seemed to have absolutely no willpower of her own. I know that a Kirin can’t help doing what his or her King demands, but she seemed very nearly spineless to me.

What is your favourite scene in Juuni Kokki and why? I always enjoy seeing how characters progress. So among my favourite scenes are: The time Youko finally manages to fight back against the blue monkey. Aozaru, is that what his name is? And the scene where Taiki first transforms into his Kirin shape.

If you were chosen by a kirin as the next ruler to a country in turmoil...how would you react and what would you do? I think I would be shocked. I would never want that much responsibility on my shoulders. I know I’d have a lot to learn in order to be a good queen, but I'm sure I’d do my best. I think I’d do something very much like what Youko did - abolishing all that bowing and scraping is definitely a must. And I’d want to tackle one problem at a time - making sure the citicens have enough food, and shelter, and seeing that no-one gets attacked by Youma would be top priority.

Which of the following positions in a kingdom would you prefer and why: King/Queen, teacher/advisor, minister, lord, servant, guard/soldier, other? I’d like to be an advisor. That way, I could watch the King or Queen, and give advice where it’s needed, but the decisions wouldn’t be mine to make. I think I’d be afraid of that much responsibility.

Anything else you'd like to say? Uuh… this is my first time doing anything like this, and I hope I got it all right. I wanted to do this because there’s someone from 12Kingdoms I constantly get compared to, and I wanted and unbiased opinion, so I came here.
