My brother is now a college graduate. Sitting on hardwood benches through a 2.5 hour ceremony in an unairconditioned gym was completely worth it to see him get a B.A. in poli sci.

I made him a card with a Goethe quote. He thought that was cool.

So what is he going to do with his life? He's going to try and make it as a writer. Oh boy.

Brotherman wasn't admitted, thank goodness. He was given an IV for the dehydration and lots of drugs to stop his puking, etc.

He missed his final today, but we're pretty sure he'll be able to take it tomorrow, before he graduates.

My brother went to the emergency room this morning. He's had some sort of stomach trouble this entire week. The longer I wait for news from Mom, the more I'm afraid there's something serious going on and he'll be admitted.

Yesterday's mail brought me a Playboy clothing catalog AND an advertisement for the local hospital's birthing center. Go figure.

The dog, like his sister and brother, made his mom a Mother's Day Card this year. I mean, he's only lived with us since 1994 and all.

While I have no desire to see either volume of Kill Bill (and I can hear some of you out there screaming "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" at the screen,) listening to my dad watching Vol. 1 in the other room makes me want the soundtrack.
