I like firemen :3 Never would have thought about fic with this setting, works nicelly for now. Ruki as a fireman is interesting. I am guessing romance between him and the Chief maybe? I liked the 'Love you to Mom.' line. I am guessing who chief would be too (based on the old man), but I am not sure you'd appreciate me saying it. This can go well, with the rescue (hopefully) and the recovery and I don't know where romance comes in.

Okay. I have a strange habit of reading things backwards, so...forgive me. XD
Anyway, I like Ruki's sarcasm...and I felt sad and helpless with him when the sarcasm died down a little after being in the fire for who knows how long.
I really hope they'll be able to rescue him. They should, right? Otherwise there'd be no story? XD
