Aw damn with Aoi and Uruha together there this excluded my two main favs with Ruki XDDD Well but it's still an interesting read, it's pretty amazing how you continue to keep the tension up.

lol I'm sorry Aoi nor 'Ruha got with Ruki~~~ (As far as we know XD) but I could just SEE those two practically doing just that XDD so... *sees Uruha feeding a hurt Aoi grapes one by one* XDDD
and yay~~ Then I'm doing my job. It would suck if everything was boring/ over by chapter 3 XDDD wouldn't be much of a story, ne?

I'm looking forward to chapter 3, but I must admit... I've seen Ladder 49 and am now a little nervous to see how this is gonna end. O_O

LOL, the twins. First I thought it was Aoi messing with him, but it seems that wherever I can in this story I think it is Aoi *shot*

Kai as Chief seems like a logical choice, I liked him here. Also little flashback, then the present are working very well for you. I was bit disappointed that Reita seems to be Ruki's man. Can you tell I was cheering for AoixRuki until now. Not that I don't like ReitaxReita or AoixUruha. I am looking forward to Reita's and Uruha's "introduction" chapters. Reita could be hot as a fireman xD

Once again, the stuck in the fire part, the descriptions of Ruki's physical condition and panic were well done.

Oh, and I like the headers. Aoi and Kai so far, really fit the idea of the story for me.
