Older sister figure; one of her family from the band, VOCALOID. Not blood-related, but Gumi considers most everyone from the group to be her family. As with the rest of the family, relations have really ben scattered since coming to XI. Meiko and Gumi's personal lives often get in the way of keeping in touch, despite being in the same place. This doesn't stop her, Kaito, and Miku from coming to her aid and calming her down when she needed it, though. Unfortunately, Meiko has long since left Xavier Institute. - Aoine Kaito
Older brother figure; one of her family from the band, VOCALOID. Not blood-related, but Gumi considers most everyone from the group to be her family. Gumi's unable to see Kaito as often due to their jobs, but they have talked a few times since she's come to XI. Recently, she hasn't seen hum, much, but he has come to calm her down once, when Gaku was injured in a car accident. - Hatsune Miku
Younger sister figure; one of her family from the band, VOCALOID. Not blood-related, but Gumi considers most everyone from the group to be her family. The two of them don't have much time to really talk with each other, but Miku is a definite little sister to her; she actually came along with Meiko and Kaito once and helped calm her down when Gaku was injured in a car accident. Their personal lives keep them so busy that, unfortunately, they haven't had too much interaction with each other since coming to XI. - Kagamine Rin

Older sister figure and best friend; One of her family from the band, VOCALOID. While Luka went on a solo career halfway through her run with VOCALOID, she and Luka generally get along disturbingly well. Though Gumi is initially (and still is to some extent) jealous of Luka for catching her big brother's eye so quickly, the two seem to share a mutual enjoyment of making Gaku squirm. So, they tease him. By putting on the girlxgirl act. It's fun. :] Luka and Gumi seem to have 'best friend' status with each other, and so they tend to let things slip to each other that most other people wouldn't know. Especially while drunk. Blood-related half brother. Out of all of her "family" in VOCALOID, Gaku is the only one of them that she's actually related to; and therefore, he's the one she's closest to. Considering how much the two of them have gone through in their life, she feels grateful, and very, very fortunate to have found him again, and to have been able to stay with him. Her brother is the most important person in her life, without a doubt. Gumi also has very obvious feelings of a romantic sort for her brother. It's obvious to everyone but Gaku, it seems. Well. Gumi's not entirely sure if she thinks of Lily as being related to her at all. She's well aware that the girl is in love with her and totally a tsundere about it, and while she isn't sure just how she feels about her, she does care a lot for Lills. She and Lily often get into wonderful awful bickering arguments which usually result with Gumi sitting on her, or Lily giving her a noogie. Fun, right?

Possibly her best friend outside of VOCALOID. Gumi and Reki get along extremely well, and they have a tradition of going out for pasta whenever things get really rough around the institute, or in their lives in general. They are also parents to baby Printer Aiko. Gumi is currently on a mission to try and make it so Reki can communicate in some way with Aiko. Even after leaving the school, Gumi and Reki remain close, even working at the same place and working on making Aiko into an android together. - Derrick Williams [mutedbackbeat]
A student that she gets along with fairly well. Gumi thinks the world of the little guy, and really wants to do whatever she can to help him with anything. Enjoys playing music with him, and he's always one to answer when her sentient webcam decides to record her. She thinks he's a sweet boy and a good kid, and really just wants to see him happy and successful. :) After the institute, she keeps in touch with him, having frequent jam sessions with him over video chat and continuing to be his pseudo-mentor in a way. - Wanijima Kaito [whipsandshoots]

Gaku's boss. She's talked with him on a few occasions. He probably thinks she's crazy. She thinks he's totally right to think that. He brainstormed ideas with her on how to smuggle Kenji the kitty into the hospital to see his "daddy" (also known as Gaku). He totally doesn't believe her sentient webcam is sentient.
