does anyone know any people (friends, relatives, ---yourself? etc.) in europe that would welcome a backpacker to stay a night or two...or provide information, guidance, food? i'll be backpacking this summer for a super long time and it'd be nice to have some destinations.

yeah, i was just going to say couchsurfing.com. i'm on there if you'd like (dana gerber, rewritethis) and stayed with a guy in paris. there's also another guy who loves to show people around. it's safe and fun!
