Haha - No, actually we leave the themes up to interpretation however you want it (I better clarify that on the profile & FAQ, neh?). We just have the "Cake, Death, & Salad" thing as a reference to one of Eddie Izzard's standup routines XD
And RE: Affiliation -- We'd love to! I'll add links to our profile posthaste (knew there was somesort of section I had forgotten!)
Is it really necessary to use movie ratings for a medium that clearly isn't suited to the visuals described, or is it okay to just put warnings as long as they are clear?
It is preferred to use the movie ratings (or hell, even television ratings) since it is a universal system of warnings with one to four letters (& numbers).
Saying that, however, if it is really something you do not want to do, you are welcome to forgo the rating bit so long as you are very fastidious with the warnings. Fluff could stand for PG-style interaction, for example.
So in conclusion to that long-winded bout of nothing: Go ahead and do what you want, it'll be fine so long as someone doesn't implode. (So no nitro glycerine, okay?)
