So what do you do now? Raw fruits/veggies to ease back into eating? Maybe you should just give me a link so I can read all this myself rather than you having to tell me.... ;)
Ah no, I'm supposed to do this for 10 days. And then yeah, ease back in with raw fruits and veggies. It's a book called The Master Cleanse by Stanley Burroughs that was published like 30 years ago. There is a website themastercleanse.com that gives some info and more links about it.
I was watching Glutton for Punishment on t.v. and he drank nothing but Guinness and water for 5 days. I think that is more my speed...LOL I kid, and I actually could really do with some lemonade right now. :)
Oh, I think I might try that next then. That sounds like a good way to ease back into food. You know, in the '20s Guinness' advertisements were all about how it was good for you. It was even prescribed in some hospitals in Ireland to post-surgery patients to help them regain their strength...
yeah, they talked about it being good for mothers, and they showed that if you give blood in Ireland, you get a pint of Guinness afterwards... sure beats cookies and juice! LOL
