yes err last 2 parts - I'm kind of still working on it
taking it easy cos I was very sick for over a month, trying to get my head back together currently (been slack but at least there's no possible death or destruction looming)

i *love* your winona kirk, and jim's interactions with her. likewise, big and little spock's discussion is so well characterized. poor spock- he's now one of three! so confusing!

Yes, well slashy side of UST is about right :D They're just beginning their 'rapport.' I'm glad you didn't 'glaze over' and 'skim' that bit of Spock musing, because I was trying to set up and ease the story into a natural progression of further closeness in the next part. It would have seemed sudden to go from epic space battle, to lots of post-battle logistics, to 'OMG KISS ME' you know what I mean??
