Wow, I can't believe I just read the epilogue -the story was very much worth the wait, and I thank you for persevering and sharing it.

I plan to re-read it entirely really soon, just to enjoy the whole experience, but the best way I can think of to express my appreciation of this fic is this: I didn't have to re-read the 27 first chapters to recall where we were in the story, to remember everyone's characterizations, the struggle of the kids, the joys of managing time travel felt by the Enterprise crew, the awesomeness of Winona and Pike. It was all there in my head when I clicked on the link to see what was this update, and the excitement that popped when I realized that oh yeah, IT WAS THAT FIC was pure, pure giddiness.

So, hem, yeah, thank you very much. This was awesome, and that you managed to see it to the end while dealing with such difficulties is a impressing feat.

tl;dr: You rock.

It appears that I chose to read this fanfic at an opportune time, as the epilogue was posted just a short few months ago.
The thing is- it doesn't matter (well, I mean, I'm glad to have had the ability to read it all over the course of a few days, but besides that...) because even if I had been there at the beginning, I would have made my way back to this final point. Your fic is that good.

I'm into homestuck (irrelevant) & there had been a similarly long ass beautiful story that wasn't finished until years after it's first posted chapter, but I stayed with it because it was like a TV show and I was just waiting for the next episode to be released!
This fanfic felt like that. It was like a movie playing in my head. Absolutely a m a z i n g. And for you to have had the both the willpower & the motivation to continue this story over the span of 6 years (while dealing with illness no less !?) is very admirable ( ... )

Hi

so sorry my reply is so late but I've had a terrible past 2 wks
can I just say - You're welcome and THANK you as well for the amazing comment

Reading it gives me warm fuzzies and makes me smile (and that's a huge deal since I've been in almost constant chronic pain for weeks)
So thanks for taking the effort to drop me a note (I totally get you when you say you just kudos and don't comment lol) and I'm completely chuffed you think this fits right in with the movies - totally what I was going for - and that you enjoyed the heck out of it because that's what it's there for

That was amazing! You have a real gift for writing action, both inter-ship space combat and hand-to-hand. I felt for the two boys, trapped on the Narada, in the Vulcan desert, keeping each other alive. Spock walking into the Captain's quarters when he thought Kim was dead, picking up the robe and smelling it - wow. I love love loved Spock consulting his inner model of Jim while fighting Nero, considering the Art of War. Yeah, not so much the man of peace that Nero might have expected.

Winona is so very, very kick-ass. I really enjoyed reading about her and Pike busting Jim and McCoy out, and the oh-so-mysterious Archer directives. Hurray for everyone finding their way home in the end.

Thank you so much, this has been a marvelous day I spent reading your story.
