if people offered help, take them up on it. even if they're too busy to be a significant help, some help is better than none. it will be better for everyone involved when the process is over, so prolonging it by trying to handle a bunch of things simultaneously by yourself isn't necessarily a good deed.
recently i read http://www.bakadesuyo.com/is-there-a-proven-system-for-making-yourself which i thought had a lot of helpful points... most relevant: you don't need people less when you are stressed out, you need them more. forcing yourself to go out and meet people and hang out with people when sad is hard, but it's a faster way to get the being sad / stressed out part over with. social interaction online is better than none, but it's less fulfilling than in person interactions.
