I'd go, if only just to know, to be certain. I hate feeling damaged and not knowing how badly, or in what manner.
That's just me, but...

Heh. I can't hear 'patella' without thinking of a line from Unercover Blues. Dennis Quaid, playing a super-spy, is bluffing, pretending to be a brain surgeon describing an injury involving people "...suffering severe trauma to the patella...right here in the front of the brain." Heh.
Of course, Tom Arnold is playing this ordinary guy trying to sound smarter than he really is, says, "I read about that in People Magazine." *snork*
I love that movie.

I would, just to make sure the chip isn't damaging other parts of your joint! I don't really know anything about anything, but I know a lot of our patients have arthroscopic surgery, where the doc looks around in your knee and cleans out debris from, say, a chipped patella. Go just so you know for sure.

Hey, that's the kind of surgery I had on my shoulder! And then once they were inside looking around, they saw that ligaments were completely torn off so they sewed them back on. XP

So, yeah, dude. Get it checked.
