Yes! It's... it's kind of a celebration. Not always with partying but you know... We celebrate the upcoming days of the birth of Jesus, which is on the twenty fifth day in December. Christmas! It's like a countdown, almost.
[ his little tiff with xellos had been more exhausting than he'd realized. he knew that he was probably going to pay in spades for it, but really-- it had been worth it at the time just to see the discomfort and annoyance on the demon's face, for once.
he was so very, very tired of demons.
so he'd taken himself and his work down to the other man's room, freeing a hand to knock. ]
[He had just sat down with a book again too. And had gotten rather relaxed, apparently, as he answered the door. The priests hair was finally down for once, the first few buttons on that shirt undone. The coat was tossed off in a different part of the room, and all those decorations had been discarded.]
Oh, hello! Sorry for the disarray here... I wasn't expecting anyone.
[ .. by nature, cesare wasn't actually a sexual being. oh, he pretended well enough to keep sancia satisfied and quiet, and he had always enjoyed teasing chiaro, but for the most part, he really had too much to do to focus on that sort of thing. his feelings for chiaro, while having developed into something romantic in nature, had never really gotten past the idea of just-- being with him.
so he found it just a bit disturbing that the sight of abel, casual and relaxed like this, was quite enough to make his breath catch.
still, cesare was an excellent actor, and he recovered from the momentary falter quickly, pasting on a slightly embarrassed smile as he shifted his pile of books in his arms and forced his eyes to meet the other man's. ]
Oh no, don't apologise. I'm the one interrupting you, after all. I was just-- rather hoping that I might borrow your desk for a short while? I had to leave my room, and I've a feeling it will be in a mess when I finally return.
[If Abel was aware of the problem here, he never gave any hints about it. In fact, he seemed perfectly oblivious, smiling at the other man and already stepping aside to let him in the room.]
Well still, getting caught looking like I'm about to go to bed is a bit embarrassing.
... Roommate problems, right? Well, that's okay, like I said.
You're more than welcome to stay here if you need to.
Yes, I haven't actually been there at all. Is there a specific time we should come?
I've noticed that too, what little I've heard. Mostly the same teachings. I worked part time for the church in my town back home... the sisters were so accepting.
I find them to be a lot of fun, actually. And it gets you a day off from work to go visit family! If I had family within easy traveling distance to visit

It's been a while since I've been to a service, although I wonder if our world's religions are similar.
Either way, I'll try come tomorrow.

It might be, you never know. Many religions are oddly similar.
Wonderful. I'll be there!

Did you? That's very nice to hear. So the nuns are called sisters where you are as well, that seems pretty similar to me so far.
