Well, I figured that I should at least get used to posting once a week, I don't want to be totally silent after all. But I don't want to just make random posts that don't mean anything either, so I guess I'll just give out a little questionnaire! You don't have to answer the ones you don't want to answer, it's just a little getting to know you sort ( Read more... )

i'm bored, humor me please, questions for all!, being friendly, book club!

Of course! I'll be over there at noon as fast as I can.

[It was times like these that made him wish he had a car here. Or at least the chip out. Lugging a door around was very, very uncomfortable. His pockets were big enough for nails, but not a hammer, and due to his inability to find a tool bucket, well.

It probably made for a rather interesting arrival, carrying a door on his back... and the hammer held between his teeth. This could have been done so much better.

But at least he was on time! Noon on the dot!]

[She hasn't done much after the revival incident, she actually took Kamui's advice and rested a bit. And when Abel came around, Kureha stood with her hands resting on her hip. With her sunglasses cascading her eyes, the witch grins widely seeing Abel almost dragging the door.

At least the priest dedicated.]

Noon exact. Heeheehee.

[It was a pretty heavy door too. Abel had gone out of his way to get a rather nice door too. Well, nice and thick and sturdy, at least. Leaning the door against a wall, he took a little break, spitting the hammer out and going back to hunting for a different place to put it.]

I did want to make it here on time. I'd just hate to be late, you see. Ah, just where is this going?

[Kureha still had that grin on her face. She points her thumb towards a flight of stairs over her shoulder.]

Just carry that to the second floor.

[With that said, Kureha begins to lead Abel expecting him to carry it himself.]

S-second floor?!

[He gawked for a moment, hoping desperately to hear "Ha ha, I'm just joking" at some point... Apparently, that wasn't happening here. She was kidding, right? Just a joke, right?!

...

She didn't appear to be stopping. With a low groan, he shouldered the door again, and at a loss of where to put the hammer, stuck that back in his mouth and began to drag the thing once more]

Do I hear an echo?

[No, she was quite serious. She looks back watching Abel dragging the door again then looks forward again towards the stairs.]

Lift with your knees if you don't want to experience pain later.

[So cruel... If he could talk right now, there would of course be whining to be had. Even if he did offer to do this willingly. Oh yes, melodrama and over reacting till the sun came down. However right now he had a door on his back, was climbing up flights of stairs and a hammer was in his mouth. Dramatics could be saved for later]

Nnkay.

[But it was harder to lift with the knees!]

[She has bossed people many of times, and besides that kind of work isn't fit for a young lady such as herself. Long as she heard him coming up, he was fine. And, if by happens his back was about to go out, she would gladly assist, but job comes first. Onward to the second floor!]

We're almost up there.

[Oh good, he was glad to hear it! As far as his back went, he'd never felt it actually give out before. He wasn't used to that kind of an injury. He felt it aching, yes, but that wasn't serious, right?

Right.

The mention of almost being up there earned the good doctor a wide eyed, hopeful glance, as if to say Really? You mean it? OH HAPPY DAY!]

[Did she heard a crack? Kureha gleams the corner of her eye. Close, right at the top of the stairs, Kureha pauses for a moment. She points up to the next set of stairs.]

Just 12 more. Remember, lift with her knee.

[With that said, she continues onward.]

[Judging by Abels expression, probably. He stops moving for a full minute, before gritting his teeth on the hammer, and with an obvious whimper, pressing on.

Knee, got it. Only twelve more.

Twelve more agonizing, horrible, pain filled steps.

Oh yeah, he could do this]

[Coming up half way, Kureha stops for a moment looking back. The man seem to be enduring the pain well. He's still doing it wrong. Turning back forward Kureha continues.

Then...finally the door came to the second floor. The door opens following the creaking sound. Yes, here is the second floor.]

[Oh, granted, he wasn't used to this kind of pain. He could fake it to get out of work, but god was this ever real. Doing it wrong? Of course he was!

He never though he'd hear a better sound than that one. The second floor door opening oh HALLELUJAH. Groaning, he more or less just heaved himself, door and all, into the open threshold the moment he got the chance]

[Honestly, either he doesn't listen or don't know how to lift a door. Oh well, if worst is to come she can treat that minor injury. Kureha continues to guide him down the hall, the walk didn't seem far (close to the other side of the building).

She rests one hand on her hip as the other arm hangs casually like a woman walking on Broadway. Just half way there.]

Just a couple more rooms down here. [She muses towards the right.]
