- 13 - [Action/Accidental Voice]
[Seeming out of nowhere, an almost ghostly cherry blossom tree appears in the backyard of house #48. It's fairly bright and could probably give a fair amount of light to any homes surrounding #48.

[[OOC: Alright, originally, this was going to be potentially dangerous (as in "lol your muses could die if they get too curious" dangerous), but after talking with a person or two (one of which was a mod), I decided to change it so it'd be much safer -- as in, the worst they'll get is creeped the hell out. ALSO, if you don't want to do an action post, feel free to bug him through the journal, since the voice picks up around the same time as the tree, and some of the quick-to-pick-up-these-things muses could easily put one and one together. Feel free to completely ignore what he said and be all "WTF TREE". Anyway ...
... FIRST. How the tree "affects" people. Well, it'll just look like some kind of haunted cherry blossom tree, really >>; The closer you get to it, the more of a feeling of dread you'd have. If you try touching it, your hand will just go through it. But if you get too close, Subaru might feel a bit uncomfortable and send out a voice response saying "Crazy kids, git off mah lawn! Kindly gtfo the general area, kthx". The tree is fairly bright, as I noted, but it's not blinding -- it's more like a soft, eerie glow, like a dying flashlight or something along those lines. It'll only really give off a good amount of light to houses #48, #47, and the bakery (lol, according to the map, anyway). However, people will still be able to see it from almost anywhere. Also, feel free to approach the tree in groups -- thread hopping is welcome if you want, but if the muses do get too close, Subaru will cut in to tell them to back off.
SECOND. The tree itself, just so people know. To put it simply, it's a mirage -- an apparition and nothing more. Canonly, the Sakurazukamori uses the tree as sort of a weapon against his "prey", but in order for it to work that way, the person has to be caught in his illusion. It's noted (somewhere, but I don't remember where) that the tree could be seen as a "ghostly apparition" from time to time, but it was never said that that apparition could be used to attack, but since it would be noticeable by anyone in that state, me thinks that's a no, considering the Sakurazukamori is a behind-the-scenes assassin and getting caught is a big no-no.
Regardless, the effects of the tree will only be around for about a day, mostly because of Duo's party, since Subaru's going to be there and well, more likely than not, he's not going to know what to do about the little mirage he put up and will likely just take it down. I was going to do this the day after, but I'm running low on time in terms of "getting ready for AnimeNEXT" + Staples works people like dogs, so I wanted to do this while the event was still running.
