Hn, I wouldn't have. I didn't end his life because I felt like it, Kamui. [After his little 'argument' with the other Subaru, he's a bit touchy with that kind of question.]

There are ruins fairly deep in the mountains -- I was there. If I had stayed around others, or if someone had found out about what Doppio requested of me and tried to talk me out of it, I may have hesitated that day. Doppio was ... counting on me -- I couldn't afford to let that happen.

... I will go back to Hokuto-chan shortly.
