Honestly, I'm not a "hard" drinker. I can be but I choose not too. I just dont like the feeling of expelling the content of my tummy into a bowl or something. Nor am I a fan of hangovers. So I choose to limit myself to drinking light beer, a little bit of gin, or a few vodka-mixed drink.
LETS DRINK TO THAAAAAT!
You know how it is in a party or gathering; when you're not doing whatever the majority is doing, you're considered a "buzz kill" or a "kill joy". Who would want that right? So if they're puking their guts out, that means you have to do the same? No thanks! I don't want to spend my time in the bathroom, messing up and all. I come to paries to enjoy the company of my friends. I can probably drink as much as you can but I choose not to hence, the scenario above...kinda describes how I am in parties.
The times are hard but that does not stop people from throwing parties. Potlocks and bring-your-own-booze is the scenario nowadays. Being in a tight budget, I always end up passing the opportunity of hanging out or going to parties with friends just because I don't have much to contribute. If ever people do convince me to go, I still feel embarassed. That and my "fear" of hangovers make me reconsider any thoughts of participating in any social gatherings.
Social-life, where??
Then I discovered this new drink: Benmore Scotch Whisky.

click for free booze! The first time I heard about Benmore, I was like, "Cool! Something new for me to drink!" I'm tired of limiting myself to beer, gin, and vodka you know. But since Benmore is a scotch whisky, I was kind of hesitant to try it. First, I haven't tasted scotch, whisky, nor scotch whisky. Second, it came from the same makers of Johnnie Walker, Diageo, so it must be mighty expensive!
Man, was I so wrong!! I think I just found the answer to my party-pooper problem. :D
Most scotch whisky drinks cost an arm and a leg but it's totally different with Benmore! It really fits well with my budget! Grah! So the next time someone invites me to a party, I have something for the host and the guests.
Yes, I'm a virgin in scotch whisky drinks but I think I just fell in love with Benmore! Hahaha! What caught my senses first was it's sweet aroma; something new to me since it's different from the drinks I'm used to. Then, of course, the taste was also great! I asked my dad if Benmore tastes different from the different brands of scotch whisky he tried before. Viola! He said, it's pretty much the same.
I like the feel of Benmore. I'm so used to drinks that burn my throat but this one is different. Gin and vodka make me tipsy and buzzed after 3 glasses. With Benmore, I was still sane when I had my 4th glass! I'd say that this is the drink for me! It's just perfect for someone who's looking for a new taste, a new drink, and great conversations with my friends.
It's affordable AND I can actually drink more of this and not puke my brains out! :)) I'm making Benmore Sctoch Whisky first in this my "socializing drink" list.
KAMPAI!
