an experiment

so, this thing. i find it weirdly tempting as a purchase. but it's pretty silly, right? i'm trying to convince myself that if this garment is completely unflattering i'm still going to wear it around the house constantly.

Clothes with assertions on the label are always good.

Also, you know Sarah Jane Smith would rock that on other planets.

true. i can sort of picture it on a person, but i'm pretty sure my imagination's being extra charitable.

It's really cute, but yeah, like MJ said, bad photography! I think if they're going to charge $20 they should bother to photograph it on a person. I would say at that price without knowing how it looks on a human it's a bit of a judgment call, but if you really love it it wouldn't be a bad purchase. Like you said, worst case scenario you could lounge around in it. I always end up wearing things like that while I do the laundry.

i agree about the photography. though i guess i sort of like bad photography on etsy because it makes me feel less like i have to snap an item up. if something's photographed really well it seems more likely to sell out.

i keep thinking about cooler days sitting around in my crazy smocked plaid housedress. i'm just not sure how realistic that is.
