my attempts at defending feminist ideologies in the One Direction fandom have been pretty hazardous. wondering if i should give up all together or keep fighting the good fight (mostly against ignorant 15 year olds--they'll learn, right?) while getting insulted for using "big words" and "not making sense" in the process.

Some girls were talking about how the women flashing 1D in Sweden didn't have any self-respect and it has escalated into three different girls telling me it's okay to blame women if they're harassed because of what they're wearing. Ugh. But I'm almost positive you are fairing much worse, hah. Good luck!
