LOOOOOOOOOOOVE! LOVE LOVE LOVE! I am sorry it took me so long to see it, but LiveJournal was being a dick. And I am ridiculously sick. And work is... ick.

Oh, Bunny, how I miss thee! *hugs* Btw, on Christmas my oldest brother told us that he and his wife are expecting their first child. I'M GOING TO BE AN AUNTIE AGAIN. Can't wait.

Ha, Live Journal was indeed being a supreme dick.

I had SO MUCH TROUBLE posting this (note the final post doesn't even have proper stanza spacing but I finally gave up.) So it's nice to know that LJ hasn't changed that much in my absence.

I thought about you all day and wondered if you were having a good birthday or if your parents made you make your own cake and then do the dishes. ;)

That's so exciting about your brother and his wife! Congrats to them and to you, Auntie Again!

Holidays were good, went super fast and is it weird, but I'm pretty glad it's January and a new year.

Awwwwwww. ♥ I actually had to work on my birthday, and I was sick, and my parents made me shop for the New Year's dinner at the end of my shift, so I bought myself a little cupcake. Quite a depressing birthday, I'd say! But everyone at work was wishing me a happy birthday, so that was nice. My mom was deathly sick, so I can't really blame my parents for not making me a cake.

I'm super glad that the holidays are over. Work is so much more peaceful.

Girl, that does sound like kind of a shitty birthday.

I feel like it should be against the law to be sick on your birthday. That just sucks. I'm sorry. :( But at least you got a cupcake, even if it was one you bought yourself! Cupcakes pretty much cure a host of ills, I think.

I remember one time I was really sick on my birthday, I think it was my 28th. I was just pissed. I had a whole day planned with my friends and I was instead vomiting up bad sushi I had at lunch the day before. Every time I ran to the bathroom I was like, "Damn you sushi gods. Damn you to hell!"
