This first chapter is called Sex and Death: A Kind of History.  It contains sex. And, death. And, it is a kind of history.

If you don't like sex, death  OR history, don't despair.  This is simply the beginning of a long and multi-focused fic that will have different chapters in a linear storyline.

After all, it's all connected......

This was very interesting. I really enjoyed all the detail, all the little past history things we wonder about with these characters. It really grabbed me very quickly because your writing is so fluid and seamless. Great stuff, this. I'm intrigued to read more...

Oh, and also, thank you for acknowledging the whole Connie/Charlie tension/weirdness issue...I know most fans are dead set against that pairing, but I find them highly intriguing (and somewhat dangerous), so it was good to see an understanding of the power of that relationship. I'm hoping you do more with that, but I guess I'll just have to wait and see!

Hi there! Thanks so much for the great comments. I'm really glad you enjoyed this chapter.

I go back and forth with Connie and Charlie. But, what I absolutely do feel with them is that there's this huge bond there that isn't so easy to dismiss. I think THAT alone is worthy of some chemistry, don't you? LOL

And, yes, though the rest of the chapters I've posted don't have any Connie, there is some more Connie coming up.
