Summer TV. I'm in the middle of watching the third season of "Six Feet Under." Getting ready for episode 6. The first five have really sucked. In fact, the first two episodes were downright lousy. Worst of the whole series. Bad writing. Zero character development. Stupid story lines. After watching eps 1 and 2, I was ready to give up on the whole ( Read more... )

ohmygod they killed boone!
oh and you know that esp with the shannon/boone flashback? remember that gorgeous view of the opera house from boone's hotel room? well, that's impossible, because the only way you can get that shot of the opera house, is if you are on the harbour bridge or on a boat in the harbour. (and i wont get started on claire's accent)

the first season of six feet was ace. the others are a bit of a hit and miss, really. and OZ! at last! someone who agrees with me! see, dammit. this is why i'm gonna miss you when you run off, boyo :)

When Jack was getting set to slice off Boone's leg, I was ready to start screaming at the TV. That was such an intense episode. I'm hoping they'll work Boone in to the second season every now and then with Shannon flashbacks.

The third season of Six Feet is really disappointing for me. The same shit seems to be going on with all of the main characters. None of them have learned/changed from the previous two seasons, and most of the plot lines run the gamut from trite to tedious. I keep wanting to grab the writers by their collars and say, "Yeah, this and that relationship is dysfunctional for these and those reasons. We get it already!" And don't even get me started on Oz... which was a major disappointment given that it was produced by the same guy who did Homicide: Life on the Streets, which was one of the best TV shows ever made.

Someday I'd like to see that opera house.
