I called it a huge crime against good taste, and she held that since they were Ann Taylor flip-flops then it was okay. Yeah, I'm learning how to do it more and more. It's hard to get the mind out of the way, but i'm totally working on feelings with this one, rather than only relying on "is it practical?" etc.
