No, their friends are their childhood friends, Leeteuk and Yesung moved to America after Leeteuk's freshman year^^ Leeteuk became friends with everyone else because of Donghae, Hangeng, and Kyuhyun because he knew them for a long time. Yesung became friends with everyone else because he knew Jonghyun, Sooyoung, Hongki and Jessica, they also introduced him to their other friends. To cut it short, Leeteuk and Yesung's childhood friends introduced them to their others so they all became freinds and a group.^^ Sorry for confusing you TT-TT
