Rogue's powers are very like a succubus indeed - it makes so much sense to think of 1602 Rogue in those terms, and, sadly, with those consequences. I loved that she, unlike the townsfolk, could put her "sin" into proportion, and leave only the wondering as to why she was different. And the descriptions of the mutant powers working were beautiful!

This was an excellent retelling of Rogue's story - I loved the New World setting, and the succubus theory. Lovely!
