I agree that there were lots of things about Kennedy that made it a good place to finish growing up. I think you and I felt it a bit more than some other people, because we came from places that DEFINITELY did not have those things--sense of community/tradition/family--while Roshi and others more or less grew up in the Catholic education system, even if they thought the experience had been kind of lame. Sometimes it was deeply unpleasant (class meetings, anyone?), but overall high school was definitely something that I smile to think about now. :)
