Its been HOW long?

You'd think in my absence I'd have lots to say. Many things have happened over the course of...a year and a half? But I suppose most of you know these things already. Its amazing how most of us abandoned these journals, like last weeks newspaper..and yet somehow we're all back. Bizarre? Maybe a little. Understandable? I think so. I for one have ( Read more... )

Whoa, when I saw this on my friends page I thought LJ had made a mistake and posted one of your old entries!

I agree that there were lots of things about Kennedy that made it a good place to finish growing up. I think you and I felt it a bit more than some other people, because we came from places that DEFINITELY did not have those things--sense of community/tradition/family--while Roshi and others more or less grew up in the Catholic education system, even if they thought the experience had been kind of lame. Sometimes it was deeply unpleasant (class meetings, anyone?), but overall high school was definitely something that I smile to think about now. :)

JFK was a damn good way to spend 4 years.

I agree with you on how kennedy was is better than most other schools.
