this crap movie with whoopi goldberg in it is on (and while I'm on the subject, I'd just like to say that her lack of eyebrows
freaks me out - so frightening) - it's called boys on the side, and it basically sucks and I basically hate it, but I can't shut it off because I really can't stand sitting up alone at night with no background noise. oh god, drew barrymore's in it too - apparently she, whoopi, and mary-louise parker are going on a road trip together. how nice. jesus fucking christ.
anyway. tomorrow we're going to have a farewell brunch for me, ha, and then around 1 I'm heading back ... I'm going to miss people of course, but I'm also a little glad to be getting back. a lot of that is because this REALLY doesn't feel like my home anymore (this house, anyway) because my room is basically gone, so I feel like I'm staying in a guest room while I'm here. I'm excited to get back to see matt & jenni & paris & evan, but I had an amazing thanksgiving break, especially yesterday. I wish my friends here lived closer. tonight lauren and I decided it was slurpee time, so we got them around 230 and then went back to her house and ate pie just like old times. I had my own rave with her dog to techno music, and I introduced to her to wonderful world of www.beedogs.com and www.cryingwhileeating.com . lovely.
news I previously forgot to mention: MR. MIYAGI DIED. I know. this is truly a loss to the world of film.

so in this one, I was in the film school. I had a film class with everyone in the film school, plus joaquin phoenix, who looked like river, but called himself joaquin. he kept saying that he hated how everyone always brought up his brother river, and he showed me a picture of him, but the picture was of joaquin...it was like they switched appearances (this is also pretty weird in itself because in an article I just read in spin, AFTER having the dream, joaquin phoenix actually talks about how he hates how people still bring up his brother). anyway, our first assignment in this film class was to be given an animal that we would have to take care of and train to do tricks which would be presented and filmed for a video. everyone in the class got a horse, except for matt, who got a hawk that would fly away and then come back to him - needless to say, we were all very jealous that matt got a hawk and we all got stuck with horses. after the video presentation, we were told that our year long project was going to be to remake Fame. I was going to be Coco. the last part I remember before I woke up is rehearsing the "Hot Lunch" scene with Joaquin/River. I was so excited to get to play Coco, but I woke up before anything else happened. pretty ridiculous.
apparently in this movie, whoopi is a lesbian, drew has an abusive boyfriend who she tries to kill with a baseball bat and then ties up, and mary-louise has AIDS. wow.
time for me to go to sleeeeeeep.
