hey all.. i've been thinking about this recently and i was just curious.. what's the saddest movie you've ever seen? or for that matter what movie makes you cry the most (if not out of saddness then perhaps emotion in general

Brokeback mountain made me sob like a little bitch, and of course, rent.

But that's terribly stereotypical.

Grave of the Fireflies pretty much takes the cake...
Shortbus makes me cry too though.

I'm with you on Crash. A Very Long Engagement isn't that sad persay, but it's really good.

And I- Can't think of any other films I've seen lately that are sad. It's been mostly action films lately.

Rent was sad in the sort of "This never happens in real life" sort of way.
A Very Long Engagement has audrey tatou is kind of sad, but more just really good.

...I'm only echoing other people but I can't think of any really sad movies I've seen.
